Don’t Treat Your Kids The Same

  • Each one of your kids is unique.
  • They think, act, talk, and process differently. They have different habits, likes, dislikes, etc.
  • Discipline them differently.
  • Communicate with them differently.
  • Love, value, and encourage them differently.
  • Spend time with them differently.

What Your Kid Thinks About God Has A Lot To Do With You

  • “What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us.” (A.W. Tozer)
  • What our kids think about when they think about God is the most important thing about them.
  • What your kids think about when they think about God has a lot to do with your actions, reactions, and words.
  • A big part of a kid’s perception of God comes from you.
  • Are you giving them a right picture of God?

Apologize

  • Say you’re sorry when you need to say you’re sorry.
  • Apologize to your wife in front of your kids…when appropriate, of course.
  • Tell your kids you’re sorry when you’ve said/done something you should not have.
